Day One

• tried to sleep in till 7; couldn't make it.
• current temp at 9 is 53; high to be 81 today; beautiful clear, blue sky; not a cloud in sight.
• made a Lowes run for paper coveralls for Jim while he
• fixes Candy's golf gart.
• made another run up to the expressway to the golf cart place to buy a replacement battery.
• lunched at the hall with hot dogs & sauerkraut.
• "jam" all afternoon.
• had a very nice early afternoon nap.
• then with the temperature over 80, had to go swimming.
• made a minor grocery run.
• had supper at Dan & Candy's.
• wonderful show this evening by The Punches Family; learned that they sang folk music which I enjoyed; not bluegrass which is instrumentally great, but I don't like the vocals.
• show included a cameo appearance by the Gold Wing Express, three brothers who are going to be here in 2 weeks.
