Sunday - South Padre Island

• clear, calm, cooler morning; temp 54.
• Jim didn't feel well all day today, but agreed to go to South Padre Island (SPI) with the group.
• a large group spent the day at SPI, including: Dan & Candy, Jim & Diane, Tim & Amy, Kristina & Barry, Jastin, Sammie & me; we all drove over in 3 cars.
• our first island event was lunch at Dirty Al's where we had a fish meal.
• then we spent about 3 hours on the beach at Clayton's Resort where the weather was not hot - temp about 65 - and only very occasional sun - mostly cloudy.
• on the way home back down the island we stopped at several shops so that everyone could get something to take back to Minnesota when they leave tomorrow evening.
• so this evening after driving 150 miles today, while others went swimming, I went to the movie Dolphin Tale; a marvelously enjoyable movie; if you haven't seen it, do!
• finally, I've got lots of pictures from the last few days contributed by Diane, Kristina, & Amy; enjoy! and thank you ladies for a marvelous travelog!
